Service Desk Specialist

Required Skills:
Proficient in 2007 Microsoft Office System
Proficient in Microsoft SharePoint
Problem/Diagnosis/Resolutions for hardware and software (troubleshooting)
PC installation - physical installation, moving PCs and equipment.
Must have a professional attitude especially when dealing with customers.
The candidate must be able to work independently or as part of a team.
Solid communication skills, both verbal and written, and must work well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Job Functions:
The purpose of this project is to assist the Service Desk area with the Next Generation Desktop (NGD) Deployment. The Service Desk Specialist will handle incoming work orders, emails, and phone calls for a customer base of over 5200 to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair problems that arise as a result of the NGD Deployment. Applicants must be proficient with the Windows desktop environment, to include MS Office 2007, Microsoft SharePoint, and Windows 7/Vista operating systems.
